Keys to staying motivated

Edited: Apr 24, 2018

On April 24, 2017 I did a Facebook Live video titled: Keys to staying motivated.

Commitment is when you stay the course even when the mood fades! 1. Mindset

What is your why? Is your why so freaking big that you'll show up on days that you don't want to do what you need to do to succeed? How will you block out the noise and distractions that tell you to sleep in or take your foot of the pedal to success? What is going to steer you and keep you on point toward your goals?

Goal-oriented people find ways!

2. Recognize your own greatness

3. Refine your goals 4. Change your focus 5. Don't wait for motivation 6. Accountability 7. Celebrate the small wins 8. Focus on activity not results

Today is a new day, a new dawn and a new beginning to amazing potential. Morning personal development has been a game changer for me. It allows me to focus on me some daily. Self-care is not selfish. It allows me to fill my ❤️ and soul. It allows me to share. It allows me to dream. It allows me to expand my vision. It allows me to ask you if you invest in yourself at least 10 minutes a day in personal development? In 1 years time you will have invested 3,650 minutes in your own personal development. That's 60 hours!!! Today is your tomorrow. #DANEish

If you don't know where you're going - you'll end up somewhere else. - Yogi Berra Experts on leadership and personal development emphasize how vital it is for you to craft your own personal vision for your life. Warren Benni s, Stephen Covey , Peter Senge and others point out that a powerful vision can help you succeed far beyond where you’d be without one. That vision can propel you and inspire those around you to reach their own dreams. We’ve learned from work with other Champions, Challengers and Dreamers (clients) that if you don’t identify your vision, others will plan and direct your life for you. We have worked with too many individuals who late in their lives said, “if only… “You don’t have to have to be one of them. Senge, defines vision as what you want to create of yourself and the world around you. What does your vision include? Making a vital change in an area such as your career or your environment? Raising happy, well-adjusted children? Writing a book? Owning your own business? Living on the beach? Being very fit and healthy? Visiting every continent? What do you do well? What do you love to do? What aren't you good at now, but you'd like to be? All of these important questions are part of identified your personal vision. It is time to clearly identify your personal vision. Come Alive
